From data from the Aceh disaster emergency response post as of Tuesday (2/12) at 19:37 WIB, North Aceh Regency was the area with the most damage to residents’ houses, reaching 20,823 units.

Meanwhile, public facilities were damaged in 18 districts/cities, such as 201 schools, 138 offices, 51 places of worship, 4 Islamic boarding schools, 302 roads and 152 bridges.
The disaster also claimed the lives of 249 people and 227 people were still missing.There were 403 seriously injured victims and 1,435 lightly injured victims.The floods and landslides affected 1.4 million residents.
“Damage to public facilities was also widespread. As many as 77,049 houses were damaged, many offices, schools, roads and bridges were also damaged due to floods and landslides,” said Aceh Regional Secretary II Assistant, Zulkifli during a coordination meeting with the Aceh disaster emergency response post, Wednesday (3/12).
Currently, the remaining logistics stock in Aceh is around 22,771 tons and will be immediately distributed to refugee locations and areas that are still isolated.
“There are still around 22,711 tons of logistics remaining at various storage points. This is what we need to distribute immediately. Because there are still locations that have not received any assistance at all. Therefore, clear identification is needed to find out the obstacles. If it has to be transported by air, the post at the Air Base is ready to support,” said Zulkifli.
The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) recorded that the death toll from floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra had increased to 753 people as of Wednesday (3/12) morning.
Based on data displayed on the official BNPB website, the number of missing victims is 650 people in the three affected provinces.
In detail, the number of victims who died in Aceh was 218 people and 227 people were missing.Then in North Sumatra, 301 people died and 163 people disappeared.
Meanwhile, in the West Sumatra region, 234 people died and 260 other people were still declared missing.
Meanwhile, the number of injured in this disaster reached 2,600 people in the three provinces.Then, the total number of people affected by major floods in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra reached 3.3 million people.
