The design of the L8 is inspired by leopards, starting from the front grill, headlights, to the interior.The L8 is designed using the LEX platform with a wheelbase of 2,800 millimeters for spacious space.This platform is also considered efficient with fuel consumption of 1.49 liters per 100 kilometers.
According to Wirabhakti, L8 sales are targeting urban elite youth who not only want an elegant car design but also fulfill a dynamic lifestyle.
“So we really focus on young people who have slightly random activities. So sometimes in the city but we can also go camping,” he said.
L8 has a large electrical power capacity of up to 6.6 kWh with a Vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature to support outdoor activities such as camping.
The Lepas L8 production process is targeted to run at the end of November.
“At the end of this month we will start the production process. So maybe the estimate is a month. It is estimated that at the beginning of the year we will be able to deliver because there is a production process,” he said.
