The Indonesian men’s and women’s badminton team teams are eyeing a gold medal in badminton

The 2025 SEA Games badminton final will take place on Wednesday (10/12).The men’s team team will face Malaysia, while the women’s team will face Thailand.
Head of Development and Achievement Division (Kabid Binpres) PBSI, Eng Hian, stated that the team of coaches and athletes had developed a strategy to perform optimally in the final match.

“Ahead of the final match, we have carried out an evaluation with the team reflecting on their performance in the semifinals. We have also held training as final preparations,” said Eng Hian.
“The condition of the children is quite good, their recovery is good and everyone is fit. Ready for the final match,” he said in a PBSI release, Tuesday (9/12).
The women’s team team, which will face hosts Thailand in the final match, is considered to be going through a tough match.Eng Hian is aware of the big challenges ahead, but they are not impossible.
“For the women’s team that meets Thailand, apart from strength in the singles sector, what you have to watch out for is the host’s support. Our women’s team must be able to overcome this,” he said.
Likewise, the men’s team, which will clash with Malaysia, will also face a strong team.Malaysia is one of Asia’s badminton powerhouses.
“For the men’s team, the strength with Malaysia is very balanced. I think the match will be fierce,” said this former Indonesian athlete about his chances of winning a gold medal.
“Of course we will field the best and most prepared line-up. So I ask the children to give their maximum play and fight all the way,” he emphasized.
