and the TNI AD’s Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) arrested fugitive Dewi Astutik who was involved in a methamphetamine case worth IDR 5 trillion in Cambodia on Monday (1/12).
The 43 year old woman was once a female worker (TKW) in several Asian countries.

His name is on the Interpol wanted list due to the smuggling case of two tonnes worth IDR 5 trillion
BNN revealed that a large-scale raid by an international drug network was carried out on Dewi, who was suspected of being the main perpetrator in the drug smuggling.
Dewi was arrested on Monday (1/12), and will immediately be picked up by the Head of BNN, Komjen Suyudi Ario Seto in Cambodia and will be flown to Jakarta.
A press conference regarding Dewi’s arrest was held today, Tuesday (2/12).
Previously, the Head of Dukuh Sumber Agung Hamlet, Gunawan, said that Dewi had lived in Sumber Agung Hamlet in 2009 and settled down after marrying a local man.

Meanwhile, one of Dewi’s neighbors, Mbah Misiyem, said he last met Dewi in 2023 when he said goodbye to work in Cambodia.
“At that time, he said goodbye after Eid, he said he wanted to work in Cambodia. I asked him why he was so far away, he answered that there was no work at home,” said Misiyem.
“I also asked how her husband was left, he said it was okay,” she added.
