Deputy General Chair of the Indonesian Kickboxing Central Management (PP KBI) and Manager of Indonesian Kickboxing at the 2025 SEA Games, Rosi Nurasjati was accused of violating the rules because she was in a location around the venue at the Lasantel Suvarnabhumi Hotel, Thailand.Due to these accusations, WAKO asked Rosi Nurasjati to leave Thailand.
Rosi admitted that he was treated like a criminal because he was stopped by dozens of Thai police.

“I was treated like a criminal. There were dozens of fully armed police carrying sniffer dogs and patrol cars who wanted to ambush me and take me to the local police station,” said Rosi Nurasjati in an official statement, Monday (15/12), quoted from Antara.
Antara reported that the reason the local police wanted to arrest and take Rosi’s passport was because based on CCTV footage he was often around the kickboxing venue at the Lasantel Hotel.
Meanwhile, Rosi in his statement explained the chronology of the incident.Rosi said the incident started on Saturday (13/12) at around 19.00 local time, he came to the Lasantel Suvarnabhumi Hotel, Thailand to deliver the necessities requested by Indonesian Kickboxing athletes, namely vitamins and fruit.
At that moment, Rosi was suddenly stopped and ambushed by dozens of local police officers.
After arguing with local police officers, the President and Secretary General of WAKO soon arrived at the location of the incident.
Rosi was asked by WAKO to make a signed written statement stating that he had to leave Bangkok City no later than Sunday (14/12) at the specified time.
If they refuse, WAKO threatens to disqualify the Indonesian Kickboxing athletes from the 2025 SEA Games which have now entered the quarter-finals.
Indonesian Kickboxing coach Sadarmawati Icen Simbolon was also affected.WAKO will take his ID card and passport.
Icen’s ID card will later be returned by WAKO if Rosi Nurasjati is willing to sign a statement to immediately leave Bangkok.
“Yes, I will be returned if I follow the deportation from the President of the Vice President of the Asian Confederation. I am being held hostage. If I don’t return to Jakarta then Icen will no longer be able to accompany the athlete,” said Rosi.
