to strengthen the Garuda Muda squad at the 2025 SEA Games.
Indonesian U-23 National Team coach Indra Sjafri has called 30 names of players to undergo training camp in Jakarta on November 6-27.
Even so, Indra is still waiting for the arrival of a number of diaspora players, including Marselino and Adrian Wibowo.The arrival of the two players is still in the process of lobbying PSSI.

“Of the 30 players, almost all of them have carried out several test items that we need to validate the players from these 30, who are the 23 players we will bring,” said Indra at a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (14/11).
“We are also currently waiting for PSSI’s efforts towards players who according to regulations still meet the requirements, including Marselino and Adrian Wibowo, and also several other players,” added Indra.
Indra did not include the names of Marselino and Adrian Wibowo to undergo TC in Jakarta.However, both names have been registered in the temporary squad for the U-23 National Team at the 2025 SEA Games.
This means that Marselino (AS Trencin) and Adrian (Los Angeles FC 2) still have a chance to enter the final Garuda Muda squad in the final minutes of the registration period.
Apart from that, Indra also actually included the name of Justin Hubner, who is currently playing for Dutch League club Fortuna Sittard.
“I comply with the commitment of the General Chair of PSSI [Erick Thohir), please let us use the best players. But it’s not easy because this is not the FIFA Matchday period and the Chair of PSSI is certainly trying in this case to be able to lobby so that they can later play in the SEA Games and we of course the coaching team really hopes for that.”
“And I’m sure we can. Right now we have Mauro [Zijlstra], Ivar [Jenner], Dion [Markx] and there are several players too. God willing, PSSI will be able to convince them,” said Indra.
The coach who helped lead Indonesia to win the 2023 SEA Games gold medal revealed that the training camp went smoothly.All players called up have joined in full on November 9.
In the near future, Garuda Muda troops will undergo two international test matches against Mali.The match will be held at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, on 15 and 18 November.
