in Thailand.In response to this, the Miss Universe Organization decided to limit the participation of Miss Universe Thailand National Director Nawat Itsaragrisil.
Miss Universe Organization President Raul Rocha expressed his anger at the humiliation incident experienced by Fatima Bosch, Miss Universe 2025 contestant from Mexico.

“I will not allow the values of respect and dignity for women to be violated. Unfortunately, Nawat has forgotten the true meaning of being a true host,” Rocha said in a video uploaded to the Miss Universe Instagram account.
“Without further ado, I want to make clear. My deep anger towards Nawat for his public aggression against Fátima Bosch, Miss Universe Mexico. He has humiliated, insulted and shown a lack of respect, in addition to serious harassment by calling security to intimidate a defenseless woman. Trying to silence and isolate her. Nawat, you have to stop.”
The incident occurred during the sashing ceremony session which was broadcast via the Miss Universe Thailand Facebook account.Nawat was seen reprimanding Bosch in front of all the contestants for not attending the sponsor photo shoot that was held earlier.
Nawat asked Bosch to stand up and explain why.However, Bosch looked uncomfortable and said he didn’t like being reprimanded in public, let alone in front of other contestants.
The situation escalated when Nawat called Bosch “stupid”.Bosch decided to leave the room, followed by a number of other contestants.Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Theilvig was also one of the people who took part in the ‘walk out’ action.
The contestants still ‘walked out’ even though Nawat forbade them and threatened to disqualify them.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Organization has sent a delegation of diplomatic executives and experts including Mario Bucaro and Ronald Day to Thailand.They are tasked with taking over the title of Miss Universe 2025.

Because of her actions, the world beauty pageant organization restricted Nawat’s participation in the competition.
“I want to emphasize once again that the only ones who should shine are our Miss Universe delegates who represent their respective countries with dignity. For the reasons above, I have restricted Nawat’s participation in the events that are part of the 74th Miss Universe Competition, limiting them as much as possible or even eliminating them altogether,” he stressed.
