Haytham Ali Tabatabai, chief of staff of Hezbollah’s armed wing, was reportedly among the dead.At least five people died as a result of an attack on an apartment block in Dahiyeh.

, in a statement, Hezbollah admitted that its “top commander” was killed.Hezbollah did not specify his role, but said the commander had “worked hard against Israel until the last moment of his life”.
Tabatabai is the most senior Hezbollah commander killed by Israel since the ceasefire took effect in November 2024.
