Both media highlighted Indonesia’s position as the largest Muslim country in the world but did not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

But during Prabowo’s speech, the two media raised “Shalom” as a closing remarks Prabowo Subianto.Shalom originating from the Hebrew language, was translated into peace.

In his writings, the media then quoted a key sentence from Prabowo’s speech related to the solution of two countries and the security of Israel.
“Indonesia has once again reiterated its commitment to the two -country solution to the Palestinian problem. Only this solution will bring peace. We must guarantee the state of Palestinian. And we will support all guarantees for Israeli security,” he said in the speech.
Prabowo then praised other countries that recently recognized the Palestinian countries, including France, Britain, Canada and Australia.
“The recognition of the Palestinian state is the right step in history,” this media reported.

also emphasizes the word ‘shalom’ spoken by Prabowo from Hebrew, the language used by Jews.
The Times of Israel then added Prabowo’s words that the security of the Israeli citizens must also be guaranteed.
This media did not mention Prabowo’s speech about the acts of starvation and suffering of Gazans while being invaded by Israel.
In fact, Prabowo gave a lot of emphasis on Gaza and Palestine which had been colonized by Israel.
