Ivar Jenner admitted that he was very proud of the strong determination shown by the players in the Indonesian National Team squad for the SEA Games.He believes that every player has the desire to make Indonesia and its supporters proud.
“I want to say how proud I am of all the players in our squad. We fought together, for the symbol on our chest, for those of you who believed in us,” said Ivar Jenner as quoted on his Instagram.

Indonesia beat Myanmar in the last match with a score of 3-1.However, this was not enough to bring Indonesia to win the status of best runner up because they lost in goal productivity to Malaysia.As a result, Indonesia had to stop in the group phase.
“At the same time, I also want to apologize. As captain, I feel responsible when we were unable to advance to the next round.”
“I know that hopes and expectations are high and we really want to make you proud,” said Ivar Jenner.
