will return to starring in Hollywood films.This time, he will star in Highlander and is believed to be acting opposite Henry Cavill, who is the main star of Highlander.
This news was confirmed by ANDMARQ as the Korean actress’ agency on Wednesday (5/11).Apart from confirming it, the agency also revealed the role that Jeon Jong-seo will play.

“Jeon Jong-seo will appear in Highlander which will start shooting next year. He will play a member of a secret organization known as the Watchers,” said ANDMARQ as reported by Mail Kyungjae via

The film will be a remake of the 1986 fantasy film Highlander. The film tells the story of a battle between immortal warriors that spans centuries as they try to eliminate each other.
Filming on Highlander was originally scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025. However, those plans were postponed until early next year due to an injury suffered by lead actor Henry Cavill.

Highlander will mark Jeon Jong Seo’s second Hollywood project after director Ana Lily Amirpour’s Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon which was released in 2023.
Jeon Jong-seo was previously known for many Korean films of various genres, such as Burning (2018), which was his big screen debut project.He also starred in The Call, Nothing Serious, Ballerina, and Project Y.
He also starred in several Korean dramas, such as his debut in Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, Bargain, Wedding Impossible, and Queen Woo.
There is no further information regarding the broadcast schedule for Highlander, starring Jeon Jong-seo.
