accused of once threatening to report Yi Zhou to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.Yi Zhou is a filmmaker from China who has made films with Renner and is dating him.
Zhou claimed that Renner contacted him via direct message and WhatsApp in June 2025 and sent him “a series of unwanted/unsolicited pornographic images of himself.”

“I was discussing the logistics of making a documentary, then he drank a bottle of wine alone and went into a rage and shouted for two hours,” Zhou told

“I have to share my location with my team, my parents, and my Disney colleagues so that if something happens to me, they know where I am,” he explained.
“I had to lock myself in my room to be safe, praying that he wouldn’t come into the room at night because he was so angry. I didn’t say anything, I was so scared for my safety.”

However, Zhou told a co-worker that he would be safe staying at Renner’s house.
The Daily Mail also published Zhou’s alleged text messages with colleagues at Disney during the incident.In the messages, Zhou called Renner “rude” and said he was “worried.”
“Can you lock yourself in the bathroom? He sounds crazy,” a coworker texted Zhou.
“I locked the bathroom, hoping he couldn’t open it. I was [very] worried about him screaming for 2 hours while downing a bottle of wine alone,” Zhou answered.
In one Instagram post, Zhou claimed Renner threatened to contact immigration when she confronted him about his behavior.
“When I admonished him privately about his past mistakes and asked him to behave himself, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration (ICE) to reprimand me, an action that deeply shocked and frightened me,” she wrote.
In one of the messages he sent to the Daily Mail, Zhou called Renner a “pig” and told him to “go to hell.”He added, “You use all the apps to send lewd photos. Nobody says anything. So far.”
“I’ll tell you about immigration…” was Renner’s alleged response, but Zhou declined to provide the rest of the message.
In another Instagram post, Zhou said that it took him a long time “before I had the courage to write this and speak out.”
She also described her “story” as “a story of survival against domestic aggression, pornography abuse, and workplace abuse, as well as abuse as a woman.”

Separately, Jeremy Renner denied the accusations made by his former business partner, Yi Zhou.He denied all the allegations, including sending her “intimate” photos and threatening to “call ICE” on her.
“The allegations made are completely inaccurate and untrue,” a rep for the actor told Page Six exclusively.
Jeremy Renner was previously married to Sonni Pacheco 10 months before the model filed for divorce in December 2014. The former couple shares a 12-year-old daughter, Ava.
During their divorce proceedings, Pacheco accused Renner in court documents of threatening to kill him and himself.He also accused the Avengers star of using drugs and leaving cocaine on the bathroom counter within easy reach of Ava.
Renner denied all of Pacheco’s allegations.They share joint custody of their daughter.
