Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s US$400 Million Lawsuit Officially Dropped

Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit against
Blake Lively
with the alleged defamation charges worth US$400 million officially dismissed by the court.
Judge Lewis J Liman officially dismissed the lawsuit worth Rp. 6.6 trillion (US$1=Rp. 16,715) after Baldoni refused to submit an amended lawsuit.

As reported by the New York Post on Monday (3/11), Liman signed the decision on Friday (31/10) and stated that Baldoni and the other plaintiffs had let the filing deadline expire.
Baldoni received this deadline after a similar lawsuit was previously rejected in June 2025.
In court documents, Liman said he issued an order on October 17, 2025 warning the plaintiffs that he was considering filing for a final judgment to end the case.
To this warning, only Lively’s camp responded.They asked the judge to submit a final ruling but still considered his request for legal fees as an active request.This request was approved by the judge.
However, Baldoni’s team can still appeal against the court’s latest decision.Meanwhile,

said he had contacted Baldoni and Lively to ask for their response regarding the news.
Justin Baldoni’s legal drama against Blake Lively began in December 2024 when Lively accused his co-star and director in It Ends With Us of sexual harassment and revenge.
Baldoni was accused of sexual harassment and launched a campaign on social media to damage Lively’s reputation along with the producers of It Ends With Us.The case arose after Blake Lively complained about the conditions on the shooting location.
Justin Baldoni, who didn’t accept it, then took action by suing Blake Lively in response.Not only that, he also accused The New York Times, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicists of conspiring to destroy his career with false accusations.

Meanwhile, the trial of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni is expected to begin on March 9, 2026. Lively filed the lawsuit on December 31, 2023, alleging sexual harassment and revenge.
Blake Lively accused the 40-year-old actor and director of sexual harassment, a hostile work environment and initiating a “multi-level plan” to damage her reputation with a social media campaign claims.
Baldoni was named in Lively’s complaint along with members of her team, including her publicist, and Wayfarer Studios – an independent production company she founded.
Bryan Freedman, an attorney representing Baldoni and the other defendants, said the claims were “completely false, outrageous and intentionally obscene.”
