However, Cannavaro’s arrival means Kapadze has to be shifted to the position of assistant coach.This is something Kapadze cannot accept.
“I became Cannavaro’s assistant coach. The decision to leave was my decision because I didn’t want to be an assistant. It would be better if I coached the next team.”
“I have a rational decision. I don’t want the new role [as an assistant],” said Kapadze in Jakarta, Friday (21/11).
Kapadze said he said he supported the federation’s decision to recruit Cannavaro.However, he has a principle that he doesn’t want to be an assistant.
“I support the federation’s decision regarding Fabio Cannavaro, but I cannot be an assistant,” said Kapadze.
