North Korean Leader,

ordered the expansion and modernization of the country’s missile production next year.

In a visit to a number of state-run munitions factories, Kim ordered them to meet “prospective needs in the operations of the country’s missile and artillery forces.”
Kim said they needed to “further expand overall production capacity” to keep up with demand from Pyongyang’s armed forces and ordered the construction of a new munitions factory.
“The missile and shell production sector is very important in strengthening war prevention,” said the North Korean leader.

KCNA also reported Kim Jong Un studied research on a “new secret underwater weapon.”
Kim was also reported to have supervised a test launch of a new type of high-altitude, long-range anti-aircraft missile over the Sea of Japan.
The country’s ruling Korean Workers’ Party is expected to hold its first congress in five years in early 2026. In the congress, they will discuss economic and military development in the next five years.
