Media Daily NK reports the North Korean authorities try two women who undergo breast implant surgery.The trial was held in Sariwon and witnessed by the public in mid -September.

According to a source from North Hwanghae Province, during the trial, the court also tried the doctor who performed the operation.The court displays surgical equipment, silicon implants, and piles of money as proof of the trial.

, the male doctor who performed the operation was accused of dropout from a medical school.He was accused of carrying out illegal operations at his personal residence using silicon from China.
During the trial, the prosecutor also accused that the two women “adopted bourgeois and capitalist habits that were not in accordance with the values of socialism” because of breast implants.
The North Korean regime has been educating its citizens with socialist values and forbids things that smell of capitalism.
The two women who were tried were also reported to have experienced harassment.Police are said to grope their bodies during the trial, in order to verify whether or not they do implants.
According to Daily NK, the two women in their 20s could only bow down.
