Jayanus alias Supi Pogau, member of the Armed Criminal Group (
KKB
) Aibon Kogoya, has been arrested by the Cartenz Peace Task Force.He was one of the people involved in the shooting of members of the National Police Mobile Brigade in November 2023.
Jayanus’ arrest was carried out together with the Nabire Police.He was arrested at Kalibobo Market, Nabire, Central Papua, on Thursday (6/11) at 08.42 WIT without resistance.

“After confirming his identity, the joint team immediately carried out an ambush and arrest without any significant resistance. From the results of the initial investigation and interrogation, it was discovered that Jayainus Pogau was involved in the shooting of Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force Brimob personnel,” said Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, as reported.

Faizal said Jayainus claimed to be the Commander of the Hetobia Battalion Kodap III Nduga under the leadership of Aibon Kogoya.
Jayainus is said to have been involved in the shooting in November 2023 in Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua, which killed Bharatu Posthumous Boniface Jawa.This incident also caused Bharatu Rani Seran to suffer a gunshot wound.
“Apart from that, the perpetrator is also known to have received and handed over 31 rounds of ammunition and a cell phone to Aibon Kogoya for use in the armed group’s activities,” explained Faizal.
A number of items were confiscated during the arrest, namely 1 blue and pink noken, 1 black wallet, 2 ID cards, 1 gold Vivo Y16 cellphone and IDR 5,730,000 in cash.
