and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.
The Minister of the Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, said that his party had scheduled a summons for company leaders who were indicated to be involved in the findings.
According to Hanif, they will be questioned by the Deputy for Law Enforcement (Gakkum) of the Ministry of Environment.

“All company leaders who are indicated based on satellite imagery studies to have contributed to providing logs on the flood, we will invite explanation processes to Deputy Gakum, and we will immediately start investigative steps related to this case,” he said at the DPR Commission XII meeting, Wednesday (3/12).
Considering the large number of victims, Hanif emphasized that there was no dispensation in this case.He admitted that he was committed to thoroughly investigating the case legally.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of the Environment Diaz Hendropriyono stated that eight companies would be questioned regarding this matter.
Diaz said the summons was made to investigate the completeness of environmental permits, including possible allegations of environmental pollution.
“In North Sumatra, especially in Batang Toru, there are 8 companies, which the Minister has also conveyed. We will invite them later,” he said when met at Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/12).
A video shows piles of thousands of pieces of wood filling Parkit Beach in Padang City, West Sumatra after flash floods occurred in the area.
In the video uploaded by the Instagram account @antaranewscom, piles of wood can be seen filling the estuary and lip of Parkit Beach on Friday (28/11).
Still in the video, the beach water looks brownish in color.Apart from piles of wood, various rubbish was also seen piled up at the location.
“On Friday (28/11), the estuary area and lip of Parakeet Beach were covered with thousands of pieces of wood and other drifting rubbish. This condition disrupted fishermen’s access and changed the appearance of the beach significantly,” said the statement in the upload.
Logs of wood carried by flash floods were also seen in the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, Sibolga, North Sumatra and a number of areas in Aceh.
