“We want to ensure that every policy taken really brings benefits to the community and region,” he said at the National Police Traffic Corps Working Meeting, Wednesday (12/11).
“With a transparent, efficient and digital-based service system, Samsat will be an example of successful public service reform that has a real impact on the regional economy,” he added.
On the other hand, the National Police Traffic Corps Director Brigadier General Wibowo admitted that turning 50 years old is an important momentum to carry out significant updates in the era of digitalization.
He added that the push for reform was also in line with the transformation of the National Police towards a modern organization, with integrity and service orientation.
“We carry out digital innovations such as developing online service applications, inter-agency data integration systems, and digitizing vehicle documents, so that people experience the ease and speed of service,” he said.
Previously, Teguh emphasized the importance of reforming Samsat governance as a strategic step to improve public services. One of them is by carrying out comprehensive updates in the service and data management systems.
“So far, data synchronization between agencies has not been running optimally. It is time for a reform of public affairs management so that public services become more efficient and the policies that are produced are truly pro-people,” he said.
Furthermore, Teguh said that reforms within Samsat must be directed at a system that is transparent, effective and accountable, so that it can have a direct impact on increasing local original income (PAD).
“Pro-people policies must be the spirit of every step in governance reform,” he said.
