“Of course also pay attention to all parents, it turns out that efforts to supervise children are not only related to activities in the real world, but also children’s activities when they are in cyberspace or in the cyber world,” said Margaret.
Margaret further asked the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi) to implement a stricter protection system against negative content on social media.
“I think this needs to be paid attention to, especially Komdigi, maybe there needs to be a stricter protection system in relation to negative content, whatever the form of negative content. So that it can provide protection for children,” he said.
Margaret hopes that the explosion incident at SMA 72 will become a common concern in the education unit, so that the school will become a safe and comfortable place.
On the same occasion, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo confirmed that the suspected perpetrator of the SMA 72 explosion was a student from that school.
“The alleged perpetrator is currently a student at the high school. Was he exposed to content or perhaps things that made him interested and also what was the reason for doing this? We are currently investigating that,” said Sigit.
