) appreciates the decision of the DKI Jakarta High Court (PT) which punished the former President Director of PT Taspen
Antonius NS Kosasih
with a sentence of 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million subsidiary to 6 months in prison.
“This means that this decision again confirms that the evidence by the KPK Public Prosecutor regarding the defendant’s unlawful actions was correct, where the panel of judges stated that the defendant Antonius NS Kosasih had been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed via written message, Wednesday (10/12).
Apart from the basic criminal sentence, Kosasih was also sentenced to pay compensation in the amount of Rp. 29,152,914,623, US$127,057, Sin$283,002, €10,000, THB1,470 baht, £30 Pound Sterling, JPY128,000 yen, HK$500, and KRW1,262,000 won, andIDR 2,877,000 subsidiary to 5 years in prison.

If calculated at the current exchange rate, the total replacement money is equivalent to IDR 35 billion.
“If this case later becomes final or has permanent legal force, then the payment of the replacement money will also be to complete the asset recovery whose execution has already been carried out against prisoner Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto, Main Director of PT Insight Investment Management (PT IIM),” said Budi.
Kosasih’s case at the appeal level is registered with number: 60/PID.SUS-TPK/2025/PT DKI, examined and tried by the chairman of the panel, Teguh Harianto, with member judges Budi Susilo and Hotma Maya Marbun.Replacement Registrar Bambang Sirajuddin.The verdict was read out on Tuesday, December 9 2025.
The alleged corruption case related to fictitious investments in PT Taspen is said to have caused state financial losses of up to IDR 1 trillion.
Apart from Kosasih, the President Director of PT IIM, Ekiawan Heri, has been sentenced to 9 years in prison, a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison, and compensation amounting to US$ 253,660, subsidiary to 2 years in prison.
The decision handed down by the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) has obtained permanent legal force.Ekiawan has been thrown into prison.
