Corruption Eradication Commission
) arrested a total of 13 people in connection with sting operations (OTT) against
Regent of Ponorogo
Sugiri Sancoko.
“In the arrest activity in the Ponorogo area, until Friday evening, the team succeeded in apprehending 13 people,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Saturday (8/11).

Budi said that seven people, including the regent, would arrive at the KPK office on Saturday morning.
This OTT is related to transfers and promotions.
The anti-corruption agency has not provided details regarding the chronology of the silent operation, including when it was confirmed regarding the evidence and other parties who were also arrested.
Based on the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine the legal status of the parties caught red-handed.
