The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed
Riau Governor Abdul Wahid
His whereabouts were unknown before he was finally found and arrested in a cafe in Riau.
“Regarding AW’s brother, who is a regional head or governor, the team conducted a search and chase and then arrested him at a cafe located in Riau,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo at the Red and White Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (4/11) evening.
At the same location, the KPK also arrested Tata Maulana, who was Abdul Wahid’s confidant.

In a sting operation (OTT) on Monday (3/11), the KPK arrested a total of 10 people.Some of them are the Head of the PUPR-PKPP Service, Muhammad Arief Setiawan and the Secretary of the PUPR-PKPP Service, Ferry Yunanda.
Another person, an expert for the Governor of Riau named Dani M. Nursalam, surrendered on Tuesday (4/11) evening.
“Therefore, currently investigations are still ongoing on the 10 people,” said Budi.
Budi added that investigators, public prosecutors, structural deputies for enforcement and KPK leaders had conducted a case to determine the suspect in the OTT.
However, he did not want to mention in detail who had been named as a suspect.
“How many have been named as suspects and who they are, we will convey tomorrow at a press conference,” he said.
During this silent operation, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) also confiscated a sum of money in rupiah denominations, United States dollars and pounds sterling worth a total of around IDR 1.6 billion.
