“Apart from the parties who were arrested, there was also a sum of money as evidence that was secured in this sting activity,” said Budi.
“Regarding what the case is, what the construction of the case is, we will update later at a press conference. Later that will include the (nominal) money, we are also calculating it,” he said.
Previously, Corruption Eradication Commission Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said that the Hand Capture Operation (OTT) carried out in Riau Province was related to the PUPR Service project.
“Temporary information is like that (regarding the PUPR Service project). The details are waiting for the results and reports from the field team,” he said

Apart from Abdul Wahid, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) also arrested a number of PUPR officials in the OTT.
This is the sixth OTT in Riau carried out by the KPK in 2025.
Previously, the anti-corruption agency had carried out a number of similar operations in various regions, ranging from alleged bribery for road projects in North Sumatra to cases of alleged extortion and/or gratification related to the processing of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certification which involved Immanuel Ebenezer et al when they served as Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
