Meanwhile, KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said that his party respects the ongoing process at Dewas.
Because, this is a form of supervision to ensure that every task carried out at the KPK is not only in accordance with the provisions and procedures, but also adheres to ethical values and behavior as KPK personnel.
“In the process of handling this case, we ensure that it complies with the legal process and applicable laws and regulations, starting from investigations, investigations, to prosecution,” said Budi in a written statement.
He said that in the case which started with a sting operation (OTT) regarding the alleged criminal act of bribery for procurement projects at the PUPR Service and PJN 1 Working Unit in the North Sumatra region, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) had named a number of suspects, both from the giver and the recipient.
Intensive examination of the suspects, witnesses, as well as searches and confiscation of evidence were carried out, until the investigation was declared complete and moved to the prosecution stage.
“Subsequently, the Public Prosecutor carried out a transfer of this case to the Medan Corruption Court to enter the trial stage,” said Budi.
He added that the trial was held openly, where the public could see and observe directly every process and facts that were revealed.Everything runs transparently.

“Because this activity of being caught red-handed also provides an entry point to see whether similar modes of corruption also occur in other sectors or regions. We are waiting for developments,” he said.
Reporting from a number of media reports, previously an organization called KAMI reported Rossa on suspicion of obstructing the legal process against Bobby Nasution who was suspected of being involved in the bribery case for a road construction project in North Sumatra.
KAMI Coordinator Yusril said that many media outlets had published allegations of Bobby’s involvement. Therefore, he asked the Corruption Eradication Commission to carry out a thorough internal evaluation and audit.
Meanwhile, KAMI Secretary Usman added that the KPK should have summoned Bobby. However, this was never done.
On that basis, KAMI reported Rossa as Head of the Investigation Task Force (Kasatgas) to the KPK Council and at the same time questioned the KPK’s independence in handling a case.
Meanwhile, in the trial that took place at the Medan Corruption Court some time ago, Khamozaro Waruwu, as chairman of the panel of judges handling the alleged bribery case for the road project, asked the KPK Public Prosecutor (JPU) to bring Bobby to trial. However, this request was ignored.
