Corruption Eradication Commission (
KPK
) received 2,273 complaints of alleged corruption from the community during the first semester of 2025.
The most complaints were in January and February.
“During January to June 2025 there were 2,273 complaints,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto in a press conference at the KPK support building, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/8) afternoon.
In January and February, the KPK received 453 complaints.Next 309 complaints in March, 287 complaints in April, 381 complaints in May, and 390 complaints in June.
After verification and study, Fitroh said that there were 254 incomplete and appropriate complaints, such as reported in the complaints not the state administrator, there was no element of corruption, and so on.
Furthermore, there are 325 reports of acts against the law or abuse of authority that results in state losses, 126 reports with other information, as well as 103 reports on bribery.
“Bribery is still quite massive. Draw from reports that enter the KPK,” said Fitroh.
Fitroh added that in the six months the institution also recorded at least 31 investigations, 43 investigations, 46 prosecutors, 31 inkrah, and 35 executions.
“As a real contribution to the KPK, until the first semester of 2025 the KPK has succeeded in restoring state finances around Rp394.2 billion,” he said.
The money comes from a fine, replacement money and booty which is then deposited to the State Treasury in the form of Non -Tax State Revenue (PNBP).
