This plan, said Dony, is in order to provide better public services in the future. Therefore, PT KAI (Persero) needs government support through PMN.
KAI itself will receive PMN of IDR 1.8 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year.
“PT KAI Rp. 1.8 trillion in the form of procurement of a new Jabodetabek KRL trainset to fully support the KRL PSO assignment,” said Dony.
Apart from KAI, two other BUMNs that were approved to receive PMN were PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA) amounting to IDR 473 billion and PT Pelayaran Indonesia (Pelni) amounting to IDR 2.5 trillion.
INKA will use PMN funds to strengthen the capacity of the railway industry, in particular expanding production facilities to develop production systems for manufacturing facilities at the Madiun and Banyuwangi factories.
Meanwhile, Pelni will use an injection of government funds to procure three passenger ships as a continuation of PMN 2024.
“In order to support the continuity of public services and the industrialization of train and ship manufacturing, PMN for the 2025 fiscal year is proposed at IDR 4.77 trillion for these three BUMNs. We are indeed carrying out a fundamental transformation regarding these three companies,” concluded Dony.
Apart from these 3 BUMNs, the DPR also approved PMN for two Public Service Agencies (BLU), namely Sarana Multigriya Finansial (SMF) amounting to IDR 6.68 trillion. The aim is to continue the assignment to provide cheap housing financing for Low Income Communities (MBR).
Then PMN also went to the Land Bank Agency amounting to IDR 2.95 trillion. The form is non-cash.The aim is to support President Prabowo Subianto’s 3 million houses program.
