Maruli Simanjuntak asked his soldiers not to betray the country and continue to increase their service by serving the community.
Maruli said this when giving a briefing to soldiers during his working visit to Makodam II/Sriwijaya, Palembang, Wednesday (5/10).
Maruli emphasized that loyalty to the country is the main basis for a soldier in carrying out his duties.

“Soldiers must not betray, everything is upright (loyalty), whatever happens is upright, there is no need to participate in all kinds of gossip,” he said to his soldiers, in an official press release received in Jakarta, Thursday (6/11).
This upright attitude, continued Maruli, can be built by strengthening solidarity between fellow soldiers in all ranks and positions.
By fostering unity, Maruli believes that all soldiers will have the same spirit of loyalty and will build each other up in order to provide the best service to the country.
“If we all unite, there will be nothing in Indonesia. Don’t be influenced by any kind of influence,” explained Maruli.
To strengthen this loyalty, Maruli also ensures that all his soldiers receive adequate facilities for living, from homes to health facilities.
One of the facilities in question is the construction and renovation of official and non-official houses (private houses) which is facilitated by the Mandatory Housing Savings Management Agency (BP TWP).
After giving the briefing, Maruli continued his working visit by visiting the Sekojo Military Dormitory area, Palembang.At that location, he reviewed the results of repairs to 157 soldiers’ official housing units carried out through the TNI AD self-management program and Kodam II/Sriwijaya self-help program.This rehabilitation also includes soldiers’ official residences in the Bangka region.
