officially appointed by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto as First Officer of the TNI AD with the rank of Second Lieutenant (Letda) on Thursday (27/11).
The inauguration procession took place at GOR Ahmad Yani TNI Headquarters Cilangkap on Thursday (27/11) morning.This news was confirmed by Rizki Juniansyah’s coach and brother-in-law, Triyatno.

This inauguration is a continuation after President Prabowo Subianto appointed Rizki as Second Lieutenant of the TNI after winning two gold and one bronze in the 2025 World Weightlifting Championship which took place in early October 2025.
“Thank God, I was appointed Second Lieutenant. Actually, [the dream of becoming a TNI] didn’t start when I was little. I probably started to feel like the police and the TNI maybe when I was 17 years old or older. There was also no one in my family who [became] an officer. I just wish one of my parents’ children wanted to be a weightlifter, so that would also make a future career,” said Rizki at that time.
Rizki revealed that this achievement was also the hope of his father, Muhammad Yasin, who wanted his son to become an officer.
“Before he died, right before the Olympics too. Only at that time there were three times. The former Banten Regional Police Chief was offered the Police Academy but couldn’t be given relief. For four years he had to remain [active]. Meanwhile, during that time I had to prepare for the Olympics. That’s why I couldn’t. I was abandoned three times. Thank God for my current fortune,” said Rizki.
Therefore, after being officially appointed as a TNI officer, Rizki immediately visited his father’s grave in Serang.
“Yes, sir, that’s right, I went straight to the grave after the inauguration,” explained Triyatno.
