retirement is getting closer and he is said to be returning to Barcelona to enjoy his retirement.
This was conveyed by David Beckham, owner of Inter Miami.The English legend admitted that he had hoped that Messi would spend his retirement in Miami but his wish could not come true.
“I wanted Messi to live in Miami after he retired. But Leo told me he was only thinking about living near Camp Nou.”

Lionel Messi himself has just signed a contract with Inter Miami until 2028.This means that Messi at least still has plans to play for the next three years.
In his career, Messi was forced to leave Barcelona because of Barcelona’s erratic salary structure.Barcelona cannot keep Messi based on existing financial fair play rules, even when Messi has agreed to cut his salary in half.
Messi finally moved to PSG on a free transfer at the start of the 2021/2022 season.Two seasons at PSG, Messi then left for Inter Miami to compete in MLS.
In the second season when he played a full season, Messi was finally able to bring Inter Miami to become MLS champions.Messi also won the golden boot with a record of 29 goals throughout the season.
