The group phase of the 2025 U-17 World Cup finished on Tuesday (11/11).The preliminary round resulted in 32 teams qualifying for the top 32, while the remaining 16 teams had to pick up their suitcases.
There were six teams who failed to qualify for the last 32 of the 2025 U-17 World Cup on the last day of the group stage.

The six countries are: Indonesian U-17 National Team, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Panama, Tajikistan and New Zealand.
The Indonesian U-17 national team failed to reach the last 32 of the 2025 U-17 World Cup after Paraguay drew 0-0 with the Republic of Ireland.Previously, Paraguay was Indonesia’s ‘hope’ to survive in this tournament.If Paraguay loses by at least 0-6, Indonesia can qualify for the round of 32.
Meanwhile Saudi Arabia U-17 was eliminated dramatically.In the last match, Saudi Arabia lost 0-2 to Mali.
The defeat made Saudi Arabia go head to head with Mexico, which is ranked ninth in the best third place standings.
However, in the head to head, Saudi Arabia lost in terms of discipline after being equal on 3 points with Mexico and having the same goal difference.
Chile experienced a similar fate with Saudi Arabia.Chile won 2-1 over Canada in the last match in Group K. However, Uganda, who was superior on goal difference, knocked Chile out.
Group K is one of the tightest.All teams in the group have a score of 4 in three matches.
