) reveals a list of 9
employment
who offers
highest salary
in Indonesia, which is greater than the national labor wage.
“The average wage/salary for workers/employees/employees a month ago, hereinafter referred to as labor wages, based on the results of Sakernas (National Labor Force Survey) in August 2025 was recorded at IDR 3.33 million,” wrote the Official News of Statistics (BRS) on the State of Indonesian Employment for August 2025, Wednesday (5/11).
“If we look at the business field, workers in the Information and Communication business field earn the highest wages of IDR 5.28 million,” said the report.

Meanwhile, workers in the Other Service Activities business field receive the lowest wages, namely IDR 1.97 million.
BPS also captures differences in workers’ wages based on gender characteristics.In general, wages for male workers are higher than for women.The salary of male workers reaches IDR 3.59 million, higher than female workers who receive IDR 2.86 million.

1. Information and Communication amounting to IDR 5.28 million
2. Financial and Insurance Activities amounting to IDR 5.12 million
3. Procurement of Electricity, Gas, Steam/Hot Water and Cold Air amounting to IDR 5.07 million
4. Mining and Quarrying amounting to IDR 4.98 million
5. Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security amounting to IDR 4.43 million
6. Real Estate amounting to IDR 4.40 million
7. Professional and Corporate Activities amounting to IDR 4.26 million
8. Transportation and Warehousing amounting to IDR 4.09 million
9. Human Health Activities and Social Activities amounting to IDR 3.75 million.
