Disaster
landslide
and
flood
occurred in a number of sub-districts in Bandung Regency, West Java.
Chief Executive of the Bandung Regency BPBD, Wahyudin, said that his party continues to carry out assessments and handle emergencies together with the sub-district government, village officials and volunteer elements.
“We are focusing on the safety of residents, evacuation and meeting urgent needs in affected locations,” he said in an official report, Friday (5/12).

The following is data on the location of flood and landslide disasters:
Landslide disaster
1. Pangalengan District
A landslide occurred in Pasir Mulya Village, Margamulya Village, Wednesday (3/12) at 21.00 WIB.Material fell on two houses belonging to Soleh Ramdani and Koswara.The position of the house is still hanging and risky.Residents were asked to evacuate when heavy rain fell.
2. Soreang District
Moving land threatened two houses in Kampung Pasir Kaliki, Panyirapan Village on Thursday (4/12) at 06.00 WIB.Another landslide also hit Cimonce Village, Sukajadi Village, and caused the collapse of the embankment holding the land in the afternoon.Emergency equipment such as sacks and shovels are needed for initial treatment.
3. Cangkuang District
Landslides in Kawung Luwuk Village damaged three houses and threatened two other houses.Urgent assistance with tarpaulins, work tools and logistics is needed.Another incident in Leuweung Datar meant that one house had to be evacuated.
4. Cimaung District
One house in Ci Seeng Village almost collapsed.The building structure is considered very risky.
5. Pasirjambu District
Landslides occurred at several points including educational facilities and road access.Two houses were affected and residents were advised to evacuate if the intensity of the rain increased.
6. Kertasari District
A house which also functioned as a shop in Puncak Mulya Village was destroyed.Data collection and emergency assistance are still ongoing.
Flood Disaster
1. Soreang District
Floods hit Pasir Kaliki Village, Jelekong, Pasir Pendeuy, and the Ibnu Solih Islamic Boarding School area.The water depth reached 30-150 cm and affected at least 10 houses and educational facilities.Some residents fled.In Cingcin Village, 30 residents left their homes because six houses were submerged.
2. Bojongsoang District
Floods of 40-80 cm in Cijagra Village RW 09 and RW 10 affected 615 families.Residents stayed in their respective homes.
3. Banjaran District
Cisangkuy River runoff submerged 80 families in Kamasan RW 08 and caused one house to collapse in Margahurip.The evacuation was carried out involving various parties.
4. Dayeuhkolot District
A number of villages in Cangkuang Wetan were submerged, access to the environment and places of worship was paralyzed.Dozens of families, including pregnant women and toddlers, were displaced.The Bojong Asih and Citeureup areas were also affected by the overflow of three rivers, causing hundreds of residents to leave their homes.
5. Margaasih District
A total of 93 houses were submerged, vehicles and business equipment were damaged.Residents were asked to evacuate.
6. Katapang District
Around 200 people in RT 02, 03, and 05 RW 03 Sukamukti Village were displaced.Urgent logistical assistance is needed.
7. Pameungpeuk District
Dozens of houses in four villages were submerged and a number of road accesses were cut off.Even though the water is starting to recede, the situation is still an emergency.
8. Ciwidey District
Floods and landslides at several points threaten residents’ houses, rice fields, irrigation and TPT.The potential for subsequent landslides needs to be watched out for.
9. Baleendah District
Worst affected area.A total of 1,071 families or 3,165 people were affected by flooding in a number of sub-districts along the Citarum River.Dozens of families fled to mosques, madrasas and RW offices.
Wahyudin emphasized that the Bandung Regency BPBD continues to distribute emergency aid in the form of ready-to-eat food, clean water, blankets, tents, medicines, water pumps and evacuation boats.
“We ask residents to remain alert, especially those living on riverbanks and areas prone to landslides. Extreme weather still has the potential to occur,” he said.
