The coach of the U-19 Indonesian Futsal National Team, Naim Hamid, responded positively to matches at the Southeast Asian level for the development of his team.
“This is a good time for my players, because we want to develop these young players for game experience and mentality. So, it is good for young players,” said Naim in an official statement from the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI), Monday (22/12).
“We will play Myanmar and after that we can talk to the players. I want them to enjoy this tournament and take away the experience,” he said.
The players who will appear to defend the U-19 Indonesian Futsal National Team include Guntur Rochmatdhani, Robby Faturrahman, Daffa Erlangga, Sulaiman Riski, Andika Ferdiansyah, and Ahmad Firdaus.
Apart from competing with Myanmar, the Red and White Team will also meet Malaysia in the preliminary phase of Group B. There are only three participants in Group B after Cambodia canceled its participation.
