Quoting AFP at the location on Saturday (8/30) riots occurred after the mass turned on firecrackers.For about five minutes, the masses began to move approaching Mako Brimob Kwitang.
The masses ignored TNI soldiers who were guarding the location to maintain a conducive situation.Then, the police fired tear gas at the masses who began to approach Mako Brimob.
On the sidelines suddenly someone threw an object burned.Then the police officer who made the barricade fired tear gas around 18.28 WIB.
The masses scattered, turned around to run towards Senen and Gatot Subroto Army Hospital.TNI soldiers who at the location also moved.
There are some masses who complained of tightness and felt his face burned.His friends helped carry and pour water into his face.
Until 18.59 WIB, tear gas shots were still heard from around Mako Brimob.The mass of the mass that was originally crowded began to fade.
