This result ensured that Vietnam qualified for the semifinals as well as sealing the winner of Group B with a collection of six points.Meanwhile, Malaysia is stuck in second place with three points.
Malaysia’s defeat also increased Indonesia’s chances of qualifying for the semifinals via the best runner up route.The condition is to win big over Myanmar so that they can compete with Malaysia to qualify for the semifinals of the 2025 SEA Games.
