Malaysian national team
expressed their concern about the flood disaster that hit various regions in the country.In a post on their official Instagram account on Friday (28/11), the Malaysian national team invited the public to pray together for the flood victims.
“We, the coaching staff, staff and players of the national team are also concerned about the flood disaster that has hit this country. We pray that those affected will always be in His protection and will continue to be given strength in this difficult time. Take care of your health and safety,” wrote the Malaysian National Team’s post on Instagram on Friday (28/11).
The major floods that hit Malaysia were caused by heavy rain since the beginning of the week.Rivers in a number of areas, especially in northern Malaysia, overflowed and submerged residential areas.

As many as ten states were reported to be affected, forcing more than 21 thousand residents to evacuate.
Continuous heavy rain and strong winds have occurred in almost the last week, causing several areas, especially on the east and north coasts, to be flooded with water levels reaching 60 to 100 cm at a number of points.
This annual flooding phenomenon occurs during the monsoon season which lasts from October to March which hits seven Malaysian states namely Kedah, Kelantan, Penang, Perak, Perlis, Terengganu and Selangor.The state of Kelantan was the worst affected.

Authorities in Malaysia have opened dozens of temporary shelter centers in various flooded areas.
Rescue teams also continue to work hard to evacuate residents, including elderly residents who are trapped in their submerged houses.
However, this disaster is not only happening in Malaysia, but is currently also hitting several areas in Thailand and Indonesia.
