This was conveyed by Anwar in response to rumors that the government wanted to prevent this case of document falsification.Anwar guaranteed that the government is pressing for this matter to be thoroughly investigated.
However, the Malaysian government cannot go too deep.This legal case must proceed normally so that there is no impression that the government is intervening with FAM.
Apart from that, Anwar hopes that the development of young Malaysian football talent will be carried out well and correctly.He is not against naturalization, but rather that it is done through the correct process.

FIFA imposed sanctions on FAM for allegedly falsifying documents for seven naturalized players at the end of September.However, FAM denied these accusations.
FAM then filed an appeal against the decision.As a result, FIFA rejected the appeal.Not long after, FIFA released falsified documents regarding the seven naturalized players.
After that, FIFA made a statement that FAM admitted to having falsified seven naturalization documents.Sanctions against Malaysia now have permanent legal force.
