Mardani Ali Sera
admitted that he was still a member of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (
BKSAP
) after being removed from the chair of the chairman of the council apparatus (AKD), Tuesday (18/11).
Mardani admitted that he was asked to accompany his party colleague, Syahrul Aidi Maazat, who is now filling the position of chairman.Mardani feels happy to have completed his mandate as Chair of BKSAP for the past year.
“At the same time, I was asked to accompany Mr. Syahrul Aidi Maazat, the new Chairman of BKSAP, also from PKS. Because of that, I am still a member of BKSAP. I am happy because I have completed my one-year mandate as Chairman of BKSAP,” he said when contacted, Thursday (20/11).

Instead, he has now been asked to focus as Chair of the PKS Election Winning Body.Even though the election is still a long way off, he admitted that he had to prepare early.
Mardani said it was not easy to approach the younger generation such as Millennials, Z, and Alfa.According to him, it was a big and serious job.Even though they feel comfortable at BKSAP, Mardani said PKS cadres are taught to be obedient soldiers.
“It’s not easy to get to know, approach, hear and voice the aspirations of Gen Z. Plus PKS has a motto: Justice for Cities and Prosperity for Villages. This is a big and serious job,” he said.
Chairman of the PKS faction in the DPR, Abdul Kharis Almasyhari, said that the change was made because of Mardani’s position as chairman of the election winners in his party.
According to him, Mardani would not be able to carry out this task if he served as Chair of BKSAP because he often required assignments abroad.
“So it’s impossible to be together with BKSAP who keeps going abroad. So that’s why people were replaced,” said Kharis when confirmed.
