Masniari Wolf managed to win the gold medal in the 50 meter backstroke swimming
SEA Games 2025
.This gold confirms its dominance in the last three editions.
Before winning gold in Thailand, Masniari Wolf also won the gold medal in the 50 meter backstroke at the 2023 and 2021 SEA Games. Thus, Masniari Wolf has always been the best in that event in the last three editions of the SEA Games.
He won gold in Vietnam 2021 when he was only 16 years old.And now at the age of 20, Masniari Wolf already has three SEA Games gold medals in hand.

“I think the gold in Cambodia was very memorable. I focused on developing my skills ahead of the Cambodia SEA Games. At that time there was a lot of time to practice and evaluate myself.”
“This year is also extraordinary, but Cambodia has a special place in my heart,” said Masniari as quoted by Antara.
After mastering the SEA Games stage, Masniari wanted an even bigger stage, namely the Asian Games.Masniari was determined to prepare himself as well as possible.
“After the SEA Games I will swim a lot of kilometers, maybe seven to eight kilometers. I will do that twice a day for several months.”
“I hope the preparations for the Asian Games can go well,” said Masniari.
Masniari Wolf is a Batak-German swimmer.He was born and raised in Germany before finally deciding to defend Indonesia in sporting events.
“I’ve been swimming most of my life. As a kid, I did it because it was fun.”
“Then a coach from a team at a higher level than my club came and offered me to join, training four times a week,” said Masniari.
Since then, Masniari has continued to grow.He also focused completely on the backstroke which has become his current mainstay number.
