Mexican President Experienced Sexual Harassment While Greeting Residents Near Palace
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is suing a man following the sexual harassment she experienced near the National Palace.
In a press conference on Wednesday (5/11), Sheinbaum revealed that the incident occurred on Tuesday (4/11) when he was walking to a meeting at the Ministry of Education from his residence at the National Palace.
In the video obtained by hitclubapk3 Mexico, Sheinbaum appears to be surrounded by local residents who greet him.A man then came from behind and immediately embraced and touched the President’s breasts.The man also tried to kiss Sheinbaum in front of gathered residents.
After harassing Sheinbaum, the man also reportedly harassed another woman on the same street.Therefore, he was immediately arrested and is now in the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office for a Sexual Offenses case.
Indonesian Foreign Minister opens his voice about Israel rejecting Turkish peacekeeping troops in Gaza
Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono opened his voice regarding Israel’s stance in rejecting Turkish peacekeepers, who will be deployed to monitor the peace process in the Gaza Strip.
Sugiono was asked what Indonesia and the countries that were ready to send peacekeepers were doing to convince Israel to accept peacekeepers from Türkiye.
“Essentially, what we want to do is contribute to this peace process. And I think Indonesia can accept it. Once again, all of this is subject to a clear mandate from the UN,” said Sugiono in the courtyard of the Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wednesday (5/11).
“The point is that what we hope and what we want is, first, a ceasefire that really is a ceasefire to happen,” he added.
Israel Sewot Mamdani Wins, Urges Jews to Leave New York
The Israeli minister told American Jews in New York to move to Israel after Zohran Mamdani was elected as the city’s first Muslim mayor.
Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister, Amichai Chikli, called Mamdani’s victory “the biggest turning point for New York City.”
“Jewish citizens in New York should really consider making the land of Israel their new home,” said Chikli, quoted by Middle East Eye.
Apart from Chikli, a number of other Israeli officials also expressed concern about Mamdani’s victory.Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, described the election results as “a triumph of antisemitism over common sense.”
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Danny Danon, also said they would not be afraid to face what he called “Mamdani’s provocative statements.”
