) sent aid with a total value of more than IDR 1.2 trillion to victims
flood
and landslide in
Aceh
, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman emphasized that all aid that has been released is aid in the form of goods, both from the government and Ministry of Agriculture employees and business partners.
“Today we are sending aid to our brothers and sisters to Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. This is in the form of goods, I repeat, aid in the form of goods, there are no purchases in the form of goods. We will carry out escorts from here until the ship arrives,” said Amran at a press conference for the release of 153 trucks of second phase humanitarian aid at the Ministry of Agriculture Office, South Jakarta, Thursday (11/12).

Amran emphasized that all aid was closely guarded from release at the Ministry of Agriculture to arrival at the port.
He appointed echelon I officials as those responsible for the disaster location, namely Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture Irham Waroihan in Aceh, Acting Expert Staff to the Minister for Infrastructure Ali Jamil in North Sumatra, and Head of the Agricultural Extension and Human Resources Development Agency (BPPSDMP) Idha Widi Arsanti in West Sumatra.
“We escorted them until they boarded the ship, and those who received them were people from the Ministry of Agriculture and Bapanas in Aceh by Mr. Irham, in North Sumatra by Mr. Ali Jamil, and in West Sumatra by Mrs. Santi,” he said.
Amran explained that the aid sent consisted of two categories.
First,
government assistance through the National Food Agency (Bapanas) in the form of regular and non-regular allocations for three provinces.The total value reaches around IDR 918 billion for regular and IDR 330 billion for non-regular, with total government support reaching IDR 1,249 trillion.
“The total regular government assistance is IDR 918 billion, the second is non-regular, the value is IDR 330 billion. The total is IDR 1.249 trillion from the government,” he explained.

is assistance from the Ministry of Agriculture Cares, namely support from Ministry of Agriculture employees, officials and partner companies, which is sent in the form of goods.In two deliveries, the value of the aid reached around IDR 44 billion.
“Please pay attention to what we are sending carefully, don’t mix it up. This is very sensitive, there are two forms of goods from the government and from the Ministry of Agriculture Care. Today it is approximately IDR 10 billion, IDR 34 billion has gone, IDR 44 billion has gone and that is (in the form of) goods,” said Amran.
All logistics are dispatched via Tanjung Priok Port to BNPB posts and affected points, including ready-to-consume food assistance to clothing needs.Amran ensured that the distribution mechanism was strict, starting from releasing trucks, leaving ships, to handing over by officials assigned to the regions.
“Our aid was released at the Ministry of Agriculture, then we escorted it until it departed in Tanjung Priok, then the people in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Bapanas in the three provinces received the assistance and were escorted to the BNPB command post and the affected areas,” he explained.
Amran said that the government, Ministry of Agriculture, Bapanas, TNI/Polri, BNPB, and partners will continue to work together to ensure that community needs are met during disaster management.
