He explained that the Draft Government Regulation (RPP) regarding the 2026 UMP was already on President Prabowo Subianto’s desk and needed to be signed.
“Tomorrow, tomorrow, God willing, I will announce it. The UMP RPP is already on the President’s desk, he just needs to sign it,” said Yassierli at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, yesterday (15/12).

After Prabowo signed the 2026 UMP RPP, Yassierli confirmed that he would immediately announce the amount of the 2026 UMP increase.
“After that I will announce it,” he said.
He was reluctant to reveal the size of the UMP increase next year.Yassierli asked all parties to wait for the government’s official announcement.
However, he indicated that the amount of the increase would not be determined by the 2025 UMP formula, where the government sets wage increases for all regions at 6.5 percent.
“Just wait for tomorrow. Last year there was no range, last year it was the same number (6.5 percent), and God willing, that was his direction and that is what we are proposing, God willing, later in the form of a range,” he said.
Yassierli also ensured that the government was committed to workers’ welfare.Discussions on the 2026 UMP have actively included the Regional Wage Council.
In this way, the 2026 UMP has taken into account the conditions of each region.
“Then we will also give consideration to estimates of decent living needs and God willing, this will be encouraging for our fellow workers,” he said.
