Yassierli said that all incoming reports would be followed up according to the authority of each relevant institution. The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) together with labor inspectors will handle reports that are the direct domain of the ministry.
Meanwhile, if there are other complaints, they will be forwarded to the provincial, district or city employment service, to BPJS Employment and even the National Police employment desk if necessary.
“We will follow up on this later, which is our direct domain at the ministerial level together with labor inspectors, which is the head of the provincial, district, city or BPJS Employment service, and there is also something we can

at the National Police employment desk,” he explained.
According to Yassierli, the launch of ‘Lapor Manaker’ aims to open wider access to communication between the community and the government, especially on employment issues.Through this channel, all complaints can be channeled officially and centrally, including reports that were previously often submitted via social media such as Instagram.
“We hope that all these channels can be united in Lapor Manaker. This is our effort to open up information barriers from the public,” said Yassierli.
He also emphasized that all whistleblower identities will be kept confidential in order to provide a sense of security for workers who wish to submit complaints or reports regarding labor violations.
“We know that there are many things that we need to hear directly from the public. Therefore, in this Manaker Report, we have also guaranteed the confidentiality of their identities,” he explained.
He added that the success of this reporting channel requires support from various parties, from trade unions, trade unions, the Indonesian Employers’ Association (Apindo), to local governments.
The synergy of all stakeholders is considered important so that enforcement of workers’ rights can run optimally.
“Our spirit is to be present in society and ensure that we can handle employment issues quickly and transparently,” concluded Yassierli.
