) Abdul Mu’ti said that his party is now starting to draft regulations that prohibit bullying practices or
bullying
at school.
Mu’ti said the process of drafting these regulations is currently still in progress.His party has invited a number of elements of society, especially parents of students, and even media circles.
“It already exists, there has been a public discussion, we also invited journalist friends, we also invited students to take part in compiling it, invited the education service, invited teachers,” said Mu’ti after a meeting at Commission X DPR, Wednesday (26/11).

He targets that these regulations will enter the harmonization stage and be completed next December.However, he has not revealed in detail the formulation of these regulations.
“Later, we are targeting harmonization by December,” he said.
Anti-bullying school regulations are now in the spotlight after a series of recent bullying cases in schools.
MH, a seventh grade student at SMPN 19 Ciater Serpong, a resident of Maruga village RT 11/09, Ciater Village, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten died after being suspected of being the victim of bullying by his classmates.
At that time, the victim was allegedly hit on the head with an iron bench.
Most recently, a male student at State Elementary School (SDN) 108 Pekanbaru, Riau, with the initials MAR, was reported to have died as a result of experiencing a series of bullying at school.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has paid attention to the phenomenon of bullying cases which are suspected to still be widespread in educational environments.Prabowo emphasized that cases of bullying in educational environments must be addressed.
“We have to overcome that,” he said during a visit to SMP Negeri 4 Bekasi, West Java, on Monday (17/11).
