The Daily Mail reported that Fenerbahce received a bill of 656 thousand pounds sterling from a five-star hotel.This was a bill for 16 months while serving as coach of the Turkish League club.
The Portuguese coach was recruited from Roma in 2024. He arrived in Istanbul with high hopes of returning Fenerbahce to glory.

Shortly after his arrival at Fenerbahce in June 2024, Mourinho moved to the Four Seasons Hotel located on the shores of the Bosphorus Strait, which is housed in a former 19th-century Ottoman palace.
The hotel’s facilities include a spa, modern fitness center and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Daily Mail Sport visited the hotel during his early days leading Fenerbahce.Hotel staff revealed that the coach often regularly ordered chicken soup followed by margherita pizza, ice cream and soda drinks.
According to Turkish media Yenicag, Mourinho’s stay left him with a huge bill worth 566,000 pounds sterling or the equivalent of IDR 14.3 billion.
Until now it is not clear who will cover Mourinho’s hotel rental costs.Mourinho had a similar situation when he left Manchester United.
The Special One left behind a bill of £537,000 while staying at The Lowry Hotel for 895 days.In the end Mou covered the bill after his dismissal compensation was paid by Man Utd.
