Amorim doesn’t want to be arrogant after MU’s success in winning points and is unfamiliar with defeat.The Portuguese coach didn’t want to brag because he thought everything, including defeat, could come back to haunt MU.
“Playing all the time in the Premier League, you can feel that everything can change very quickly because any team can win any match and, if you look at the base [standings], they have a lot of points,” said Amorim, quoted from MU’s official website.

Facing Everton, Amomrim didn’t want to just win and maintain their record without losing for the sixth time.
“We have to think about going six games without losing. But being unbeaten is not enough. I found the two games [against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur], especially the last game, really frustrating.”
“So for us, that’s not enough. At this club, no matter the moment, it’s not enough to just look for results without losing. Being unbeaten is not everything. We didn’t win in the last two games, so I think like that,” he said.
