Nadiem just had surgery, indictment hearing postponed until next week

Chairman of the Panel of Judges Purwanto S. Abdullah said that the next indictment trial against Nadiem would be held on December 23 2025.
“So from now on we will postpone the next hearing to Tuesday 23 December 2025 for the parties to attend the appointed hearing,” said Purwanto.

Public prosecutor (JPU) Roy Riady said Nadiem could not attend because he was still recovering from surgery.This is based on a letter of application from the legal team containing a letter from the doctor’s examination results.
“Today he cannot attend the trial because he has had surgery. Maybe there are documents based on legal counsel,” he said.
Even so, the trial of the three other suspects is still ongoing.They are Ministry of Education and Culture Technology Consultant Ibrahim Arief;Director of Elementary Schools (SD) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020-2021, as well as Budget User Authority within the Directorate of Elementary Schools at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2020-202 Fiscal Year, Sri Wahyuningsih.
Finally, the Director of Junior High Schools (SMP) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture for 2020-2021, as well as the Budget User Authority (KPA) within the Directorate of Middle Schools, Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year, Mulyatsyah.
“Perhaps in this trial it was because we had already decided for today that we only opened it even though the defendant Nadiem did not come,” said Chief Judge Purwanto.
