The public prosecutor (JPU) revealed

received IDR 809 billion in a case of alleged corruption in laptop procurement
chromebooks
while still serving as Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek).
Apart from that, 25 companies were enriched by the procurement of educational laptops.

Regarding the total quota received by Nadiem, it was revealed in the initial trial of the indictment against one of the defendants, Sri Wahyuningsih, in this case.Prosecutors said the total losses in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s digitalization program reached IDR 1.5 trillion.
“Enriching yourself or other people or a corporation, namely the defendant Nadiem Anwar Makarim, amounting to IDR 809,596,125,000,” said prosecutor Roy Riady when reading Sri’s indictment.
Sri was one of three defendants who attended the initial trial of charges in the case of digitizing the procurement of Chromebooks and Chrome Device Management (CDM) which was held in 2019-2022 at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology.
In the Nadiem era, he served as Director of Elementary Schools (SD) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020-2021 as well as Budget User Authority within the Directorate of Elementary Schools, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year.
The prosecutor said that this act was carried out by Sri Wahyuningsih together with three other defendants, namely Nadiem Makarim, Mulyatsyah as Director of SMP Kemendikbudristek 2020, Ibrahim Arief (IBAM) as a consultant, and Nadiem’s former special staff, fugitive Jurist Tan.
According to the prosecutor in his indictment, the procurement of chromebooks and CDMs for the 2020-2022 fiscal year was not according to plan,
25 Parties enriched
Apart from that, in the indictment the prosecutor revealed 25 parties who were suspected of receiving funds in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of chromebooks during the Nadiem era.
This was revealed in the initial trial of three of the four defendants in the case.
Nadiem, as the only defendant who was not present, said the prosecutor also received the flow of funds.
Apart from Nadiem, there are 13 individuals suspected of receiving funds, and 12 companies.
Roy said the total state losses resulting from this flow of funds totaled IDR 2.1 trillion.This amount does not include special losses from project procurement which reached IDR 600 billion.
This number is based on an audit conducted by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPKP RI) on November 4 2025.
