National Police Chief
General Listyo Sigit Prabowo leads the West Java Regional Police’s ‘Sauyunan Guard Overtime’ online motorcycle taxi (ojol) security and social security roll call at Upakarti Field, Soreang, West Java, Saturday (8/11).
Attended by around 5 thousand ojols, this activity aims to unite in order to maintain security and public order.It is hoped that online motorcycle taxis can help the police, especially providing information on dynamics in the field.
“Thank God, today we have just carried out the Ojol Kamtibmas roll call, which previously started with a declaration from Ojol Kamtibmas,” said Sigit in an official statement.

“This also includes how to help in providing information regarding events that occur on the road, be it accidents or crime incidents,” he added.
Sigit said that with synergy, the police can move quickly to handle information coming in from ojol drivers.
“In fact, we hope that we can help provide accurate information so that we can uncover crimes that occur on the streets which of course are disturbing the public,” said Sigit.
Sigit further believes that ojol has become an important element in driving economic growth, both nationally and at the regional level.They act as a link between MSMEs, traders and the community so that they become a chain that supports economic growth.
“I also thank the [West Java] Regional Police Chief and his staff for providing assistance with basic life management training, especially for people who have experienced traffic accidents. And earlier friends from Ojol Kamtibmas were given this training, and this is of course very important to save people or lives with the available time or golden time, so that they can then be treated further,” said Sigit.
On the other hand, Sigit said that in maintaining security and social order, the main key is synergy and collaboration between the entire community and all stakeholders.This is also to realize Golden Indonesia 2045.
“The key to success is when we are able to synergize with good mutual cooperation between the community and all existing elements to then carry out our efforts to continue to support and realize what the community hopes are. Realizing a Golden Indonesia 2045. We continue to maintain this hope of synergy and collaboration,” said Sigit.
On that occasion, the National Police Chief also visited the Ojol Kamtibmas Mart booth, Ojol Kamtibmas Bengkel, Health Service, Social Service, Mobile SIM, Mobile Samsat and West Java Regional Police SAR.
